Outdoor fountain serves in increasing the greenery around your home provide you fresh air and increases the rate of humidity of the environment.

If you are looking forward to give a new look to your garden just add a fountain in it. This fountain may be attached to a wall or can be a stand alone. These fountains add vibes of stillness or calmness to your surrounding.
Fountain is basically2 type: Recalculating and Dedicated water source type. In recalculating there is a pump that continuously circulates the water through the fountain. It consists of a reservoir pan to hold water and the pump which will continue to recycle the water. In dedicated water source fountains are attached to a water line. But these are quite expensive.

The outdoor fountains normally works with the basic principle of recycling, where the pressurized water bubble jets out through the narrow exit and free falls into the decorative basin. Most of the outdoor fountains have a submersible electric motor adopted to run on electric current or batteries. Some of the most popular styles of outdoor fountains are Copper Cascade Solar fountain, Leo wall fountain, Small Buddha Head Fountain etc. Fountains can be self contained which are easy to install by just setting up the plumbing and connecting it to a power source or elaborate one require professional installation.

Stone has been the building block material of choice since humans first stacked stones on top of each other to make a basic shelter. Use of Stone in garden is natural a choice which enhance the beauty of a garden. Stone has been always been the choice of native-plant enthusiastic garden maker. A pathway of stone will enhance your yard and add convenient passage through your yard and garden while keeping your feet dry.

One doesn’t require any extra skill to lay a stone path. If you have a strong back and an eye for fitting jigsaw puzzles, you can weave a casual garden path. There are various kinds of stones, bricks and pebbles which are used to make a path.

For constructing any stone path you need to have a good elementary plan in your mind. You have to make sure whether you want to make the path straight or curving. Once you decide its shape you need to decide its route, wideness (at least it should be three feet wide so that 2 people can easily walk).Tools and material such as pavers, bricks, tamper, gloves, landscape fabric, safety goggles, tape measure, rubber mallet, string, plywood, wood stakes, small sledgehammer, pencil, framing square, brick hammer, garden hose, pitching chisel, spade, broom, sand, gravel, and kneepads are required.

First of all just dig five inches deep soil along the path which you have decided using spade. Moisten the soil in the excavated area with water and tamp it down with a tamping tool. Thereafter place landscape fabric on the dug area and then put some sand over it (around 2 inches). Now set down the stones on the soil, try to make the gap between 2 adjacent stone as small as possible. Continue laying rocks along the path. If there is any gap between 2 big rocks then small rocks can b used to fill the gap. Now brush or sweep off the surface of the stones lightly and moisten the path with water.

Make sure that the stones are not slippery when wet. Also keep in mind the drainage system for the path, decide the slope in the beginning itself. There are various types of path such as House Path, DIY Paths, New Oak Tree Path, Oak Tree Path, Willow Tree Path, Dog-Paths, Hen House Garden Path, Laundry Garden Path, Middle Garden Path, Wattle Woods Garden Path etc.

The stones you select for your garden can b ordinary stones. You can also purchase stones from professional suppliers of stones.
